("SPP," "we," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy ("Privacy Policy"). SPP provides zero percent interest payment plans for vehicle service contracts and other protection products. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the websites www.servicepaymentplan.com, www.sppinc.net, www.myspp.com, www.thepowerofzero.com and other websites and online services run by SPP and/or its affiliates (the "Websites"), contact us via mail, email, telephone, fax or instant message, or obtain products or services from us (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy also explains our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. This Notice to California Residents section provides additional information to California residents pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and its implementing regulations (collectively, the "CCPA").

This section applies to "Personal Information" as defined in the CCPA, which excludes personal information that is collected, processed, sold, or disclosed pursuant to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"). For our practices related to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information regulated by the GLBA, please see our Financial Information Privacy Notice . Please note that as an entity regulated by the GLBA, the majority of Personal Information that we collect is in the context of providing financial products or services and is therefore outside the scope of the CCPA.

This Notice to California Residents section does not address or apply to our handling of Personal Information that is exempt under the CCPA, nor does it apply to job applicants or current or former employees in the context of our working relationship with them. This section also does not apply to our handling of information when acting as a service provider to our business partners such as dealers, vehicle service contract administrators, and dealer management systems. In those circumstances, the privacy policy of the relevant dealer, vehicle service contract administrator, and dealer management system will apply to your information.

As described more fully in the section Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It, in the past twelve months we have collected Personal Information from you directly either through the Websites (including automatic data collection technologies) or when you contact us offline regarding our Services, automatically as you navigate through the Websites, from third parties such as dealers, dealer management systems, and vehicle service contract administrators, and from our service providers. We use Personal Information as described in the How We Use Information We Collect section and as described in the tables below. We may disclose Personal Information to our service providers for a business purpose as described in our Privacy Policy section How We Share Information and as described in the tables below.

SPP does not collect any "Sensitive Personal Information" as defined in the CCPA as it does not collect or use such information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a consumer.

Profiling, Selling, and Targeted Advertising

SPP does not have any actual knowledge that we sold Personal Information of any person under 16 years old or shared such information for targeted advertising.

You may be accessing the Websites via a browser that has a "Do Not Track" setting. Our Websites do not currently respond to such a signal. If you have turned this setting in your browser on, or if you are using a browser with the default setting of "Do Not Track," please be advised that all features of the Websites may not function in such setting. If you wish to opt-out of the collection of tracking information you may do so according to your browser settings; however, please be advised that such an election may limit the functionality of the Websites available to you.

Depending on the type of request, we may request information from you in order to confirm or verify your identity. We will only use this additional information to verify your identity or authority to make the request. We may also ask you to provide additional detail or clarify your request to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

You may authorize someone as an agent to submit a rights request on your behalf. You may provide that person with a power of attorney or signed, written permission to submit requests on your behalf, but we will still require you to verify your identity with us directly by one of the methods listed above. We will also require your authorized agent to verify their personal identity via one of the above methods.

Children's Information

Our Websites are not intended for children under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 16. By using the Websites, you certify that you are over the age of 16. We reserve the right to delete any information we believe to be in violation of this Privacy Policy.

We Operate in the United States

If you use the Websites outside of the United States or are a resident of a country other than the United States that has laws and policies governing the disclosure and management of your Personal Information, you understand and agree that the information you exchange with the Websites and Services may be maintained on servers located within the United States. By using the Websites and Services, you understand and consent to the collection, storage, processing and transfer of your Personal Information to our facilities in the United States and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy. Data Security

We have implemented reasonable security measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to our Websites. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Websites.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services and to maintain a record of your transactions, subject to applicable law. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account or through a notice on the Websites' home page.
